  I think Blue Pill is completely right. To fight religion humour and ridicule is much more effective than rational arguments. You can compare it to how writers like Voltaire used humour to ridicule the catholic church in their time.

  Ridicule gets attention from the outside community (not interested in dogma) if it is well done. This is exactly what's happening now!

  I liked What the editor stated :"Og la oss bare presisere:

  I hope Inqiry man will translate it, I'm not norwegian!

  But , "glattslikkede narren" it's a bit offensive towards the interperator...it might in english be something like "slippery-licked joker"

  one of my strangest memories of going to the kh was when a young- maybe 18-20, pimply young man got up to talk about jhvhs view of masturbation during a service meeting.. of course, it was impossible to think about him not masturbating.

  i was just hitting puberty and found the whole thing very uncomfortable- i think my dad was even critiquing him (what is that called when elder gives the feedback).

  looking back now i can see that to publicly condemn masturbation, especially when a young man is delivering this admonition, is- well- hilarious.

  Dealing with elders during my mom's surgery

  my mother has been working forwell over a year to have a gastric bypass and she finally got the ok from her doctor and insurance.

  the date is set for this coming friday.

  although, i'm not 100% sure this will happen because she was diagnosed with pneumonia and a partially collapsed lung this past week.

  It's your own mother! The elders doesn't have any power over you! If they don't like your company they are free to leave!

  Bring a small vidoe cam and record them, if they can't behave properly. They might be stars on Youtube!
